How Hushd decides

Every call is shown to you. The model can be wrong, so Hushd leans quiet.

One drift, start to finish.

Scroll, and follow Hushd through a single wander.

  1. It reads the window in front.

The app, title and page address, only during a session. Messages and music are never read.

  2. It compares with your task.

Your task and project notes, judged by Apple’s on-device model. No cloud model.

  3. Two checks have to agree.

One reading is never enough. A second check has to land the same way.

  4. The drift has to last.

A quick look away is fine. Hushd waits to see if you come back on your own.

  5. Then, a gentle nudge.

In the notch, without sound, and never naming the distraction.

The ring speaks in shapes.

Shape first, color second, so a state never rests on color alone.

Closed. You are on task, so Hushd says nothing.

How firm it gets is up to you.

Hushd starts gentle. Stricter steps are there if you ask for them.

When it gets one wrong, say so.

Review shows why each moment was flagged. “That was fine” teaches Hushd.

Hushd can be wrong. When it isn’t sure, it does nothing.

    Nothing to ask

    Quiet unless it is sure.

That is the whole idea. The rest is in the details.
